Hi there,
I have an art-teacher crush on Kimon Nicolaides, author of the incomparable textbook, The Natural Way to Draw.
Reviews gush that his book is "...not only the best how-to book on drawing, it is the best how-to book we've seen on any subject." -Whole Earth Review
His book reads as half instruction manual, half poetry.
And each summer, we go through it in Antonelli Art School in 9 Weeks with The Natural Way to Draw.
I'm a little scared and a lot excited. We'll be drawing at least 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week, for 9 whole weeks.
Using Nicolaides' rigorous and out-there instructions asks me to see in ways that leave my brain-muscles sore in places I didn't know I had them.
Still, "Everything worth doing starts with being scared," as Art Garfunkel once said.
9 Weeks with The Natural Way to Draw begins Tuesday, July 6th.

Speaking of Antonelli Art School...
I'm doubling down on supporting the art students in our network, so I've made the decision to end free access to Antonelli Art School.

For members, this means I'll be reaching out to you soon to connect about achieving your art goals.
